The bond advisory committee, district and board of trustees would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for the overwhelming support of our bond proposals for our schools, students and staff. We are thankful for a community that cares so deeply about their children and offers such support for education. *What is a school bond?

A bond is similar to a home mortgage. It allows the District to borrow money to be repaid on a given date with interest. This type of long-term financing allows the District to pay for large costs related to facilities and other capital improvements that cannot be funded through the Maintenance and Operations side of the District's budget.

*Why do we need this bond program?

The parents and citizens of Santa Fe have spoken. After months of study, it has been determined that the size and quality of our educational facilities are insufficient for maximum student achievement.  Improved facilities are needed to support expanding educational curriculum and optimize the educational environments for our students.
