Curricular: **All campuses are gearing up for the TAKS tests that will be administered March and April.

  **Tutorials are scheduled on each campus...there are after school sessions, before school sessions, and some within the school day sessions.  Check with the offices for the particulars of each campus.

Extra-Curricular:   **The new UIL alignments were published recently...Santa Fe HS will now compete in District 24-4A along with Angleton HS, Brazosport HS (Clute), Friendswood HS, La Marque HS, Manvel HS (Alvin), Dawson HS (Pearland), and Texas City HS.  Dickinson moved to 5A.

Financial:   **The district again received a perfect score on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (F.I.R.S.T.) which is the state report card for business operations.

  **The district also received a clean audit by our local auditing firm in the annual financial audit of the district's books.

Facilities: **We've been hosting meetings at each campus to discuss the strengths and shortcomings of our physical plant.  These are called Campus Coffees and some of you may be getting an invitation to attend one of these early morning events.

  **There will be a Community Forum this Thursday night (Feb. 7) at the Junior High Cafeteria to discuss facility issues and a possible bond election.

  **The District has voted to purchase a future school site in one of the local housing developments.  The site is just north of Lago Santa Fe between Cemetery Road and Highway 646.
